The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, hands-on software development experience, enjoy building and scaling teams and working with exciting technologies while following globally recognized engineering and project management practices. In addition to managing the team, this role will have the ability to work directly on our diverse portfolio of projects and participate in the evolution of engineering processes and practices within DSR.
Engineering Team Lead reports to the DSR President and DSR VPE.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ year of experience in software development
- 3+ year of experience in a leadership role (Team Lead or Tech Lead).
- Solid understanding of modern engineering practices and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in team building and helping others grow
- Working proficiency in English and Russian. Knowledge of Uzbek is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Lead software development projects, providing technical direction and ensuring high-quality delivery
- Support the professional growth of your team members through regular feedback, performance reviews, and career planning
- Collaborate with the HR and Resource Management teams to help with staffing, interviewing, and onboarding new talent
- Monitor team engagement and motivation; identify potential issues early and work to maintain a positive, productive environment
- Ensure clear and efficient communication within the team and across other departments
- Represent the company in the local tech community (e.g., IT Park, universities) to help build our brand
- Provide regular updates to supervisors regarding project status, team performance, and resource needs
